A Specialist Spin-Off
Dürrenberger Maler AG, an established painting company in Basel, was launching a focused new venture: lackwerk GmbH, a specialist in spray and lacquer work. The challenge was to create an identity that signaled the technical precision of spray finishing while still feeling part of the Dürrenberger family. lackwerk needed to feel younger, sharper, and more focused — a specialist's brand, not a generalist's.
The System: Logo, Type, and Color
The identity is anchored by a custom logo, Greycliff as the typographic backbone, and a focused color palette built to feel both professional and confident. Every element was designed as part of a system — so the brand reads consistently whether it's on a letterhead, a business card, or a sprayed surface. The logo, type, and color system are now live and in use across lackwerk's communications.

From Paper to Pavement
The brand was applied across a full set of touchpoints: letterhead, envelope, and business cards for everyday office work, plus a vehicle design concept that turns the company fleet into a moving billboard. Each application was treated as both a functional asset and a brand moment — small details meant to make lackwerk feel polished and present from day one.
Concept proposal: the following visuals show the final pitch deliverables — social media concept, color exploration, logo variations, and poster ideas. These were submitted as part of the original concept and are not currently in active use by lackwerk.
