Story and Concept
El Tony Mate Ad-Spot started with a simple brief: create a liquid-focused advertisement or mood video. Instead of classic coffee or water, El Tony Mate became the hero – a refreshing drink matched with the fast, gritty energy of skateboarding. Together with skateboarder Zenny, the spot blends dynamic riding, quick cuts, bold typography, motion design elements, trackers, and split screens to create a fast-paced, adrenaline-driven visual story that feels as fizzy as the drink itself.
Scope
The scope of this project covered the full process from concept to final edit: idea development, visual research, and scripting; planning the shoot and filming the skate sequences; editing and colour grading; and finally adding motion design, kinetic typography, tracking, and split-screen compositions. The result is a short ad-style mood video that showcases skills in video production, motion design, and storytelling for a lifestyle beverage brand.
